Not only is Tiffany an incredible author, but she is also THE writing coach. Her methods are part mind-reader, part editor, and part empathetic wizard. She has this ability to hear clearly what you want to say and guide you toward it gently but knowingly. She sees your intentions when they are not clear to you and asks the questions that reveal your truth. Learning from her is an experience that will change the way you write and the way you see yourself as a writer.

When I first connected with Tiffany, I had no idea how to structure or finish the second and third acts of my book. My goal in the 6-week author mentorship program was to figure out the book’s story arc and at least have chapter outlines for the rest of my unwritten material. But with her guidance, I finished the program with a full book draft!

A big reason this was possible is that Tiffany helped me understand how to connect with and treat my body during the writing process. I write heavy nonfiction, so she equipped me with tools in my toolbox to have more focused writing sessions and much-needed decompression activities to “bring my nervous system down” afterwards, as she wonderfully described it.

We started our work together with a brilliant strategy: figuring out what the vision for the book was and then deciding which chapters fueled that vision and how. Tiffany also educated me about how to check for tension and intrigue in each of my chapters. She also offered line edits that were some of the best I have ever received — strengthening the voice of my younger narrator. I genuinely can’t tout this program and the opportunity to work with Tiffany enough. It was worth every penny, and I hope to work with her again in the future. If you give the author mentorship program your full attention, you will only walk away with progress in the right direction towards your vision.

I really started on this project with a prayer and a dream to be honest. I knew I wanted to write a story, and I knew a few things about who and where it was about, but that was it. And what Tiffany did with that in such a short period of time was genuine magic.

We created so much of these people, and so much of their lives, and suddenly I cared about them and I knew them and I realized what their story was going to be about. Somehow, thanks to her, now I have an entire first part of a book and actual plans for the rest. And it feels like it’s a story worth telling, and that’s because of her. She is not only a spectacular and emotional and genuine writer but she’s also a brilliant and informed and insightful teacher, which is an insane combination if I ever saw one. I could never thank her enough.

Working with Tiffany is honestly to me about as close as you can get to working with an oracle. She will just casually hand out these pieces of information or insight that are so profoundly correct, so creatively important, that it’ll change everything you’re writing for the better - and she’ll do it like it’s nothing. Over and over again. She’ll do it while simultaneously holding so much empathy and emotional honesty for you and for herself, so you never feel talked down to, you never feel like an imposter. That makes it so much easier to write emotionally honest characters, because it’s an emotionally honest space. It’s really special, to be able to work with a person who can do that. Tiffany’s probably the smartest person I’ve ever talked to, let alone worked with like this. It was a fucking joy.

Without hyperbole, I have been circling around long-form writing my whole life. It wasn’t until connecting with Tiffany at a writing workshop that I felt like I could actually do it, that I could actually prioritize this calling, and somehow weave together stray images, ideas, themes, experiences and dreams into something meaningful — for myself, and for a reader.

Our sessions moved quickly from “I don’t really know what I want to write” to having a real story — real characters and important stakes and rich backstory and inciting incidents that moved the plot along to take said characters on inner and outer journeys.

Tiffany is a very special blend of mystical and pragmatic. She is kind, generous, funny — but doesn’t suffer fools. She is just the person you want on your team, helping to shepherd the work along. You will still sometime stare up at the mountain and wonder why the hell you are doing it, and if it’s worth it, and then Tiffany will remind you that you know the answer and she’ll give you just the right tools and encouragement to stay the course.

I never thought I would be brave enough to write memoir. To tell my story as I saw it was something I didn’t believe deserved to take up space in this world. Tiffany helped me begin to not only tell it but not only as I saw but as I felt it, smelled it, tasted it. She showed me that every aspect of my life is a creation and how to instill that into a writing practice.

With every essay I wrote during our time together I tapped into more and more empathy for myself; an unexpected and necessary part of this journey.

As someone who cares immensely about what others think of me I found myself surprised that I was eager to turn over my words to her each week. Excited to receive her feedback with zero fear of judgement.

I looked forward to creating for the parts of me that I was ashamed of and being met with compassion, love, and magic by Tiffany on the other end. She helped me find the story that needed to be told and taught me how to weave that love into it.

I want more writers to know about Tiffany’s individualized author mentorship, because I believe she’s cultivated a balanced perspective and space where more intuitive writers can empower their work with insight, structure, and freedom. She’s also really funny. And kindly honest.

Storyboarding has helped me move forward tremendously with my fragmentary novel. I find traditional plotting strategies and diagrams too rigid to adapt to my way of thinking and working, but I needed some way to disentangle my ideas. When Tiffany shared her storyboard excel, I felt I’d unlocked a part of my brain. The tool is perfect for someone like me who needs a touch of adaptive organization that offers room for notetaking and a bird’s-eye view with the ability to “zoom in” as needed.

Another growth spurt for me was Tiffany guiding me through my own self-distrust. We were able to understand which personal experiences and beliefs were holding me back, I worked on those thoughts, and now I write with more awareness, confidence, and boldness. I sit comfortably with my choices and feel less like an impostor. Thank you so much, Tiffany! <3

Tiffany is illuminating, wise, compassionate, and authentic. When I had no idea how to get ‘unstuck’ in my novel or how to identify what was holding me back, she identified my block immediately and with piercing clarity. I love her holistic approach to writing. She helped me not only with technical aspects of my novel, but also with understanding myself better, and writing from the heart starts there. If you are an intuitive writer, I can’t recommend working with Tiffany enough!

Working in Written on the Body (twice!) and private coaching with Tiffany has been a creative heaven. I’ve battled internal struggles with writing and calling myself a writer my entire adult life, and she has motivated me to step into my artistry, wholly. Not only do I now identify as a writer and write frequently, my time with Tiffany has opened me to other artistic ventures I’ve yearned to do for a long time. Tiffany is brilliant and is definitely doing goddess’s work!

In working with Tiffany, I set out to finally sit down and finish my draft. And I did. But my time with Tiffany was about so much more than just finishing my book—they were instrumental in helping me rewire years (decades, even) of negative self-talk and doubts holding me back in both my writing and in business.

As an editor and writing coach myself, I’m intimately connected with the writing process and have often wanted someone to support me as I guide others. I cannot recommend Tiffany enough as both a writing mentor and a genuinely authentic and incredible human to have by your side. I can’t wait to work with her again.

Working with Tiffany is an incredibly unique experience. Her wisdom, humor, and passion for writing in an intimate way makes her a mentor like no other. It was through her BDH program that I was finally able to finish my draft (a month early, too!). Not only did I gain tangible writing strategies from our time together, I also received so many valuable insights into the writing process and important mindset shifts.

Working with Tiffany made my book feel possible again. With her gentle and down to earth way about her, she was able to help me bring my desires for my book from my heart to the page. Through meditations, writing exercises, and mindfulness practices, I was able to get closer to my intuition and find moments of pure joy in my book again.

Tiffany’s passion for creating something vulnerable and meaningful is contagious. There is not a writer alive who wouldn’t benefit from Tiffany’s guidance.
